Plant-based squalane: Extracted from olive oil, plant-based squalane is a derivative of squalene, a natural component of human sebum. Its excellent affinity with the skin, due to its similarity to skin lipids, and its emollient properties make it an ideal active ingredient. It strengthens the skin's hydrolipidic barrier, softens the skin, and protects it from dehydration.
Organic cocoa butter: Cocoa butter protects the skin from external aggressors. It helps maintain hydration by slowing down water loss and forming a barrier on the surface of the epidermis. It has been used for centuries in Africa as a preventative treatment to improve skin suppleness and also as a treatment for dryness.
Organic cornstarch: Organic cornstarch is a plant-based carrier that allows for better adhesion of the powder to the skin, and therefore better makeup hold. It facilitates the dispersion of pigments and thus helps to create a uniform shade on the skin.
Bamboo powder: A white substance extracted from the joints of bamboo. Thanks to its high silica content, it remineralizes, hydrates, and helps regenerate the skin while reducing shine on combination and oily skin.
Apply a light or medium eyeshadow all over the eyelid. Then, choose a darker shade to define the lash line. Highlight the inner corner of the eye with a light shade.
For an intense look, use a dark shade in the outer corner of your eye. You can use the black eyeshadow in shade 206 as eyeliner to draw a thin line along your upper lash line. To complete the look, apply one of the Zao mascaras to your lashes.
