The cornflower belongs to the Asteraceae family. Cornflower hydrosol is obtained from the plant's petals by steam distillation. The cornflower is an annual plant found throughout the world. It can reach 1 meter in height and blooms from May to October. The hydrosol is rich in active substances and has a low essential oil content.

This hydrosol is traditionally known to soothe and revitalize tired or sensitive eyes. It is also renowned for toning the skin. It is also used as an ingredient in homemade cosmetic formulas.

• In practice :
Spray the cornflower hydrosol all over your face on clean skin. It can also be used by applying it to a cotton pad to complete your makeup removal/cleansing routine and remove any remaining residue from the skin.

To avoid a drying effect, do not allow the hydrosol to dry on the skin. Apply your cream or oil immediately to damp skin; this will also improve the absorption of the active ingredients in your product. If using the hydrosol is the last step in your skincare routine, remove any excess product with an absorbent cloth.
